The Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball Program released its 2008 schedule on Friday.

RIVERDALE, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Volleyball program released its 2008 schedule on Friday morning. The 2008 slate will open on September 6 at the Old Westbury Tournament. The schedule features five home matches with the first being played September 19 against Sage at 7:00 p.m.

After playing in the two day tournament at Old Westbury, the Dolphins will stay on the road for matches at York on September 10 and at William Patterson on September 13. Following the William Patterson match, the Mount will play three straight home matches starting on the 19th with Sage. The next day, September 20, the Dolphins will host a Skyline Conference Tri-Match with St. Joseph’s (LI) and Maritime.

After the tri-match on the 20th, Mount Saint Vincent will again hit the road for a pair of matches at New Rochelle on September 22 and at Lehman on September 27. After a home match with Staten Island on October 2, the Mount will play eight of its final nine matches away from Hayes Gymnasium.

After playing Staten Island, the Dolphins will travel to Farmingdale State to take on the Rams and Old Westbury on October 11. On October 15, the Dolphins will host their final home match of the season when they welcome Purchase to Riverdale. Following that match, Mount Saint Vincent will play its final five matches of the season on the road, including Skyline matches at Bard with the Raptors and Polytechnic on October 25 and the final match of the regular season at Mount Saint Mary on October 28. Inside that stretch, Mount Saint Vincent will also play non-conference matches at CCNY on October 23 and at Sarah Lawrence on October 27.

Following the regular season, the top six teams in the Skyline Conference will compete in the league tournament to be held on November 5 and November 8.
