Men’s Lacrosse Team Earns Skyline Conference Team

Dolphins receive honor voted on by the league’s head

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Lacrosse team
has received the 2008 Skyline Conference Team Sportsmanship
Award it was announced on Monday morning. The squad becomes
the second Mount Saint Vincent team to earn the honor this
spring, joining the softball team.

The award is voted on by the league’s head coaches. Each coach rates every other school on a scale of 1-10. Scores of 1-2 represent the lowest rating, 3-4 being below average, with 5-6 being average, 7-8 being above average and 9-10 representing outstanding sportsmanship. Mount Saint Vincent earned a 7.2 rating in the vote.
The Dolphins finished the 2008 campaign with an overall record of 4-11.
