Michael Pope hit .400 for the Dolphins over six games last week.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Michael Pope (Massapequa, NY) has been named the Skyline Conference Baseball Rookie of the Week it was announced on Monday evening. This marks the first time in his career Pope has been honored and the fourth time this season a member of the Dolphins has been recognized with a weekly award.

Pope hit an even .400 for the Dolphins last week over six games. At Lehman he went 3-5 with a pair of runs and an RBI. He also had a two hit game against Stevens on Saturday afternoon. Overall for the week, Pope went 8-20 with seven runs and two RBI. He collected a double and also drew five walks for the Dolphins who went 5-1 last week.

At 16-12 overall and 9-5 in the Skyline Conference, Mount Saint Vincent will play a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon at Centenary. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
