Mount Saint Vincent Defeated By Yeshiva In Skyline Men’s Tennis Action
Lastres, Anselmo pick up singles wins

The Dolphins dropped a Skyline Conference match to Yeshiva on Sunday afternoon.
YONKERS, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Tennis squad dropped a 7-2 decision to Skyline rival Yeshiva on Sunday afternoon at Tibbetts Brook Park. The Dolphins received singles victories from Eric Lastres (Bayside, NY) and Phil Anselmo (Bronx, NY) in the match.

Lastres moved to 2-1 in singles action on Sunday after he downed Yeshiva’s Seth Nayowitz by scores of 7-5 and 6-4. Anselmo continued his solid early season play on Sunday with his fifth straight singles win. He won at the fifth position with a 4-6, 6-3 10-7 triumph over Moshe Dlott.

The loss drops the Mount’s record to 1-5 overall on the season and to 0-3 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Tuesday when they host CCNY. The match at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers is set for 4:00 p.m.
