Mount Saint Vincent Names Brian Inglis Head Men’s Tennis Coach
Inglis to lead Dolphins after playing career at Cornell

Brian Inglis was named Head Men's Tennis Coach this week.
VERDALE, NY – College of Mount Saint Vincent Director of Athletics Cathy Ingram has announced the hiring of Brian Inglis as the school’s new Head Men’s Tennis Coach. Inglis will take the reigns of the Dolphins’ men’s program and prepare them for the upcoming 2008 season.

Inglis will come to Riverdale after being involved in tennis for much of his life. He was a member of the varsity squad at Cornell from 1996-2000 and has stayed involved in the sport at various levels since his graduation.

In June 2001, Inglis became the Founder and President of the Satellite Tennis Academy based out of Westchester County. The Academy served as a private coaching and player development program. Inglis managed both an Indoor Club Program while running two full service day camps. He used his communications skills to increase the Academy’s growth among regional customers to build it from one student to over 200 yearly clients. 

Inglis served as the Director of Tennis and Camp Operations at the Tennis Club of Riverdale from January 2006-February 2007. In that capacity he oversaw all operational issues, including budgets, sales and marketing and staffing and scheduling. Inglis also oversaw and managed the opening of the club’s inaugural overnight camp. His responsibilities with that included directing staff and contractors though renovation, sales and opening of the camp.

Presently, Inglis is the Co-Founder of Elite-Recruiting, LLC in White Plains, NY which he helped establish in February 2007. Here he implemented the start-up of an internet based consulting business for young athletes. Inglis has also overseen the creation of the company’s website, which has helped lead the effort to create partnerships with collegiate coaches, athletic directors and administrators.

A 2000 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics and Business Management, Inglis currently resides in Katonah, New York.
