David Guerrero named Skyline Rookie of the Week for third
time this season
Rookie outside hitter led Dolphins to 2-0 week

of Mount Saint Vincent freshman David Guerrero
(East Meadow, NY) has been named the Skyline
Conference Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week it was
announced on Monday evening. Guerrero, who helped Mount
Saint Vincent to a 2-0 week, has been honored with this
award on three occasions so far this season.

Guerrero helped lead the Dolphins to a perfect week by averaging 3.50 kills and 1.33 digs per game. The rookie outside hitter posted 13 winners in a 3-0 win over Polytechnic on March 4 and followed that up with eight kills, five service aces and five digs in a sweep at Yeshiva.
At 10-14 overall on the season and 5-2 in the Skyline Conference, the Dolphins will be back in action this evening when they host Purchase. The match at Hayes Gymnasium is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
