of Mount Saint Vincent senior Anthony Palandro
(Westbury, NY) has earned the first Skyline
Conference Pitcher of the Week award it was announced
Monday evening. The Dolphins opened the season with a
doubleheader split against Mercy on March 1, with Palandro
picking up the win.

Palandro picked up the Mount’s first win of the season in the second game of the set with Mercy on March 1 at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, NY. In the seven inning contest, Palandro went 5.2 innings giving up just one hit and one unearned run. He moved to 1-0 with six strikeouts in his first appearance of the season.
At 1-1 overall on the season, the Dolphins will head to Ft. Pierce, Florida on Thursday. Mount Saint Vincent will play its first game on its southern trip on March 15 against Penn St.-Behrend.
