Dolphins topple New Paltz 15-8
Reynolds scores five for the Dolphins
3/8/2008 - NEW YORK, NY – Jason Reynolds (Centereach, NY) led Mount Saint Vincent with five goals, as the Dolphins picked up a 15-8 win over New Paltz on Saturday at Columbia. Reynolds was one of three players with multiple goals as Mike Shea (Congers, NY) and Ryan O’Dougherty (Morristown, NJ) netted four and two goals, respectively.

Reynolds had six points in the contest with his five markers and one assist. O’Dougherty also added a helper, while Shea recorded assists on two Dolphin goals. Other goal scorers in the contest for the Dolphins were Russ Holland (Brooklyn, NY), Matt Esandrio (Waterbury, CT), Chris Guastamacchia (Goshen, NY) and Stan Wong (Merrick, NY).

Ken Valentine (Centereach, NY) led the squad with five groundballs on the afternoon, while O’Dougerty was right behind with three. Holland, Reynolds, and Greg Gabrielle (Mineola, NY) each scooped a pair of groundballs in the Dolphins’ winning effort.

In goal, Tom Egan (Nanuet, NY) and Mike Nuzzi (Westbury, NY) each made one save for the Mount.

Mount Saint Vincent will return to action on Saturday, March 15 when it hosts Shenandoah. The game is scheduled to face-off at 1:00 p.m.
