Dino Johnson named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week

Dino Johnson (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) has
been named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week it was
announced on Monday afternoon. This marks the first time
that Johnson has been honored with a weekly award in his
career.

Johnson averaged 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds over two games last week for the Mount. After scoring 10 points at Yeshiva on February 20, Johnson closed the season with a career-high 27 points on 6-12 shooting from the floor and from three-point range. Johnson also averaged 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest. Overall he shot .391 from the floor and .409 from three-point land.
The Dolphins
closed the season with their win at Purchase. Mount Saint
Vincent posted an overall record of 9-16 and a league
record of 6-12.
