Cyndi’s passion for medicine developed when she participated in an internship at a hospital in high school. Now, medicine is all she thinks about! Her continued success in her classes, the opportunity to participate in cancer research, and the possibility of getting accepted into her first choice medical school, are what motivates her to keep her eyes on becoming a surgeon one day.

It hasn’t been easy for Cyndi to juggle her rigorous course load and her demanding lacrosse schedule, but it has been well worth it. She has even found time to start Mount MD’s, Mount Saint Vincent’s Pre- Med club, participate in community service projects such as Midnight Run, and take in a Broadway show here and there.

A self proclaimed daddy’s girl, going so far away from home for college was the hardest adjustment Cyndi had to make. The “Big City” lured this country girl yet scared her at the same time. Now, she finds the hardest thing will be to leave the City, her friends and the professors who have been so helpful throughout her four years at Mount Saint Vincent.
