Guerrero posts 41 kills over two matches

of Mount Saint Vincent freshman David Guerrero
(East Meadow, NY) has been named the Skyline
Conference Men’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week it was
announced on Monday evening by the league office. Guerrero
finished the week with 41 kills and 18 digs as the Dolphins
went 1-1.

Guerrero averaged 5.12 kills and 2.25 digs per game for the Dolphins who split a pair of matches last week. Against Bard he finished with 23 winners to go along with a pair of service aces, two total blocks and 11 digs. On Friday night at Purchase, a 3-0 win, Guerrero posted 18 kills as well as two service aces, a total block and seven digs for the Mount.
Guerrero and the Dolphins will be back in action tonight, February 18 when they host Yeshiva. The match is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. in Hayes Gymnasium.
