The Dolphins at Northeastern

WENHAM, MA – While in the Boston area for the Gordon College Tip-Off Tournament, the College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team had the opportunity to attend practice at Northeastern University. Mount Saint Vincent was addressed by Northeastern head coach Bill Coen prior to practice.

Coen spoke of the importance of working hard both on and off the court to achieve success. Following the inspirational talk, Michael Murphy’s father Tom, an Associate Head Coach at Northeastern, toured the Dolphins around Boston’s Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

The Mount went 1-1 at the Tournament, falling to host Gordon and then topping Alfred 102-101 in overtime. Joe Cooke (Mt. Vernon, NY/Fordham Prep) was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 22.0 points over the two games.
