11/15/2007 - RIVERDALE, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team will open the 2007-08 season on Friday night at the Gordon Tip-Off Tournament against the host Fighting Scots. Live audio and video feeds will be provided through Gordon’s official website, www.gordon.edu/athletics.  The feeds will be available for games in which Gordon plays in ONLY.

Derek Charlton (Yonkers, NY) returns as Mount Saint Vincent’s leading scorer after posting 17.1 points a contest last season. Charlton also led the team with 8.2 rebounds per contest last season.  Also back for the Dolphins is Kevin Garlan (Jackson Heights, NY), who posted 11.0 a game last season.

The Dolphins open the season at Gordon and will return to Riverdale for their home opener on November 20 against Centenary. Mount Saint Vincent will open the Skyline Conference schedule on December 1 when it hosts Farmingdale State at 12:00 p.m.
