Kim Abbott named HVWAC Swimmer of the Week

Abbott
(Malone, NY) has been named the
Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Swimmer of
the Week it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Abbott opened the season in strong fashion, as she won three individual events in the HVWAC opener against New Rochelle on November 7. Abbott posted wins in the 50 and 500-yard freestyle events, as well as in the 200-yard individual medley against the Blue Angels.
With a 1-2 overall record and a 1-1 mark in HVWAC meets, the Dolphins will be back in the pool on Wednesday night at Old Westbury. The Skyline Conference contest is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
