Barawandika raced to a 183rd place finish for the men’s team in a time of 31:23. Following him in the scoring five were Colin Galvin (Thiells, NY/N. Rockland) in 196th place, John Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) in the 237th position, Joe Nickerson (Jersey City, NY/Hudson Catholic) in 238th place and Andrew Murano in the 240th position.
The Cross Country squads till close out the 2007 campaign on November 10 when they compete in the NCAA North Atlantic Regioals. The meet will be held at Van Cortlandt Park and gets under way at 10:30 a.m. with the women’s race. The men’s competition will follow at 11:30 a.m.
