 John Cornicello will join the Men's Lacrosse program for his first season as an assistant coach

that John Cornicello will join Dan Mulholland’s Men’s Lacrosse staff as an assistant coach. Cornicello comes to the Mount after a successful four year playing career at Hartwick.

Cornicello was a member of the Hawks squad from 2004 -07 where he appeared in 35 games and made 12 starts. In his career, Cornicello scooped 15 groundballs and went 56-126 in face-offs. In 2007 as a senior, Cornicello was named a team captain.

Cornicello, who received his Bachelor of Arts in History in 2007 from Hartwick, holds certificates in Secondary Social Studies and with the New York State Department of Education. He most recently served as a student teacher at Cooperstown Middle School in seventh grade United State History.

Off the field, Cornicello excelled in the classroom, earning Dean’s List honors on four occasions in his college career.
