Dolphins run to third place finish at HVMAC Cross Country Championship
Galvin leads the way in seventh place
10/27/2007 - RIVERDALE, NY – Michael Murphy’s Men’s Cross Country team ran to a third place finish on Saturday in the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference Championships at Van Cortladnt Park. Colin Galvin (Theills, NY) led the Mount Saint Vincent contingent with a seventh place finish.
Following Galvin for the Dolphins were Andrew Kirshner (Yonkers, NY) in 15th place, John Furka (Massapequa, NY) in 17th place, Joe Nickerson (Jersey City, NJ) in the 18th position, Andrew Murano in 20th place, Matias Roibal (Boonton, NJ) in 23rd place, Dino Johnson (Amsterdam, NY) took the 24th spot, and M.A. Basa (Yonkers, NY) rounded out the Dolphin squad in the 31st position.
Mount Saint Vincent will hit the trails again tomorrow when it competes at the Skyline Championships. The event hosted by Bard will kick-off at 10:00 a.m.
