Alessi stopped 23 of the 27 shots she faced last week over a two game stretch. She made nine stops in a 2-0 loss to Bard on October 19 and then came back the next day with a 14 save performance at Farmingdale State.
Hernandez continued his breakout campaign with two more goals at Bard. For the season, Hernandez leads the team with 13 goals and 29 points. For the season, Hernandez has three multiple goal games, including a four goal output against John Jay on September 24.
For the season the women’s team stands at 6-8 overall and 3-4 in Skyline play. They will be back in action Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Mount Saint Mary in Newburgh, NY.
The men’s team stands at 3-10-1 overall and at 1-5 within the Skyline Conference. The Dolphins will host Mount Saint Mary Wednesday afternoon. Kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
