10/23/2007 - RIVERDALE, NY – College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Jackie Galgano (Stony Point, NY) has been named the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Tennis Rookie of the Week it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Galgano went unbeaten in singles action last week and posted a 1-1 in doubles play for the Dolphins.

This marks the second time that Galgano has been honored by the league. She was also honored on October 11 after going 2-1 in doubles action, including an impressive win over unbeaten Cooper Union.

The Dolphins will enter the HVWAC Tennis Championship on Sunday with a 6-8 overall record and a 3-3 mark in HVWAC competition.
