Galgano picked up a 10-6 win over Smitha Krishnan of Cooper, while Lorenzen posted a 9-6 triumph over Cooper’s Michelle Chu. Galgano teamed with Noelle Ebbitts (Coram, NY) at first doubles and they were defeated in a tough decision 8-5. Lorenzen teamed with Megan Fraino (New City, NY) and battled Chu and Mary Leigh Mackie from Cooper, falling 8-5. Kathleen Nealon (Maspeth, NY) and Michele Kirby (Bloomingdale, NJ) fell in a tough 8-6 decision at third doubles.
The Dolphins now stand at 5-6 overall on the season and 3-2 in the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference. The Mount will be back in action on Monday when it returns to Skyline Conference play at Farmingdale State. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
