Dolphins clip Saint Elizabeth in Women’s Tennis
Lorenzen, Fraino help Dolphins to victory
10/6/2007 - YONKERS, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Tennis team returned to the .500 mark on the season with a 7-2 win over the College of Saint Elizabeth Thursday afternoon. The Dolphins were victorious in all three doubles matches and picked up wins in four of the six singles contests.

Mount Saint Vincent got solid performances from Jessica Lorenzen (Pembroke, NH) and Meg Fraino (New City, NY) who picked up wins at third and fourth singles. The duo also teamed for an 8-4 win at second doubles. With the Dolphins playing shorthanded over the past week, the duo has stepped up to help the Mount win four of its last five matches.

With the win, the Dolphins improve to 5-5 overall on the season and 3-1 in the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference. Mount Saint Vincent will be back in action on Saturday against HVWAC rival Cooper Union. The match is scheduled for noon at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
