10/3/2007 - CENTERVILLE, MA – Senior midfielder Cynthia Osorio (Oceanside, NY) has been named the ECAC Metro Women’s Soccer Player of the Week it was announced late Tuesday. Osorio was also tabbed the Hudson Valley Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Tuesday night after an eight point game against Polytechnic on Saturday.

Osorio, who has been honored three times this week for her performance, led the Dolphins to a 7-0 win over Polytechnic on Saturday by scoring three goals and adding a pair of assists. To close out her impressive afternoon, Osorio played the final 17 minutes in goal and made one save for the Mount.

Following a 2-0 win at CCNY on Monday night in which she scored, Osorio now leads the Dolphins with nine goals and 19 points.

At 5-3 on the season and winners of four straight contests, the Dolphins will return to action on Thursday when they play at the College of Staten Island. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
