10/1/2007 - RIVERDALE, NY – Senior midfielder Cynthia Osorio (Oceanside, NY) has been named the Skyline Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week it was announced on Monday evening. Osorio had eight points in the Dolphins 7-0 win over Polytechnic on Saturday afternoon.

Osorio scored the only goal of the first half and eventual game winner on Saturday to send the Mount to a 2-0 start in league play. Osorio collected two more goals in the second half and added a pair of assists in the game. Osorio also played the final 17 minutes in goal, making one save against the Fighting Blue Jays.

Mount Saint Vincent stands at 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the Skyline Conference. The Dolphins are back in action this evening when they play a HVWAC match vs. CCNY at 6 pm at Riverbank State Park.
