9/26/2007 - RIVERDALE, NY – Jessica McBain (Troy, NY) has been named the HVWAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week it was announced on Wednesday morning. The junior midfielder had three points over two games, including two goals against Maritime on Saturday afternoon.

In a 3-2 overtime win at Saint Elizabeth, McBain recorded an assist over the Dolphins’ HVWAC foe. To finish off the week, McBain tallied twice in a 3-0 win over Maritime. The win got the Mount to the .500 mark for the first time this season.

At 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the HVWAC, the Dolphins sit in first place ahead of Staten Island (1-0). They will be back in action on September 29 against Skyline Conference rival Polytechnic. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
