Undergraduate Programs

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies offers two baccalaureate degrees that have been created specifically for transfer and adult students. Both degree programs will be available at our Riverdale campus as well as our midtown Manhattan site, located at 1233 Second Avenue, between 64th and 65th streets. Classes will be held during the evening and on weekends in order to meet the scheduling needs of students who work full-time. Prospective students may transfer up to 75 credits into either of the bachelor degree programs, and will receive one on one curriculum advisement through the School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Program Information:

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) is a 120 credit program that provides grounding in business theory while exposing students to real life, practical situations through case studies and discussion. The curriculum includes 30 required business core credits and 30 required general education credits. This degree completion program encourages students to develop an in-depth understanding of key subject areas while fine-tuning their management, problem solving, and communication skills. The general studies component of the program allows students to explore in greater depth topics of interest to them through discussion, readings, case studies, and teamwork.

Bachelor of Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Professional Studies degree (BPS) is a 120 credit program that has been designed with the adult student in mind. The program includes 30 required core credits and 30 required professional credits in one of the following content areas:
  • Communication and Media Studies
  • Organizational Leadership
  • Criminology and Social Justice

Students entering the program can transfer up to 75 credits towards the degree including a maximum of 30 life credits. Additional Information:

To obtain additional information about either the BBA or BPS degree, please attend one of our upcoming information sessions. During each of the sessions, prospective students will have the opportunity to ask questions, pick up program materials, and complete an application. For those students who submit their application during one of the information sessions, an on-the-spot application evaluation and admission decision will be made.


For those students who would like to submit an application and receive an admissions decision during one of the information sessions, the following materials are required:
  • Completed application
  • Application fee
  • One copy of the transcript from all colleges attended prior to submitting an application to the College of Mount Saint Vincent. (Unofficial copies are acceptable).

Once an admission decision has been made, students will then have to submit to the School of Professional and Continuing studies official copies of all of their college transcripts and a letter of recommendation.
