What is the refund policy and process for SHRM students?

What is the refund policy and process for SHRM students?
Registrants who are unable to attend will receive a refund under the following conditions:

  • You must send request of withdrawal from the course via email to SPGS@mountsaintvincent.edu
  • Your provide written notification from HRIC indicating you are ineligible to test (2 weeks prior to first scheduled class)
  • If you withdraw prior to the first scheduled class meeting, you will receive a full refund.
  • No refunds after first class
If you paid by credit card, you will receive a refund back to that credit card. Please allow 5 to 7 business days to process an approved refund. If you paid with a check or money order, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your refund to process. Please visit Refund Policy to learn more.

When are courses offered?   
We run courses throughout the year, during the fall, winter and summer semesters.

Are all of the classes offered held at the Riverdale Campus? 
Yes. The College of Mount Saint Vincent is located at 6301 Riverdale Avenue in Riverdale, New York. View Directions to Campus 

However, our SHRM courses are offered at our Mid-Manhattan campus at 4 West 43rd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues) New York, NY. 

When do I need to register?                
You can register up to one or two days before the class begins but ideally up to two weeks in advance, as registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance registration enables the student to obtain course materials prior to the first day of classes if they wish. Can any of the Non-Degree courses be applied as credit towards my degree?               
No, however, any classes taken through our degree, for-credit classes can be, if appropriate, transferred towards completion of one of our degree programs. If you have questions about applying to one of our degree programs please contact us at (718) 405-3322.
