NY Real Estate Courses
New York Real Estate Salesperson's and Remedial Course

The New York Real Estate Salesperson's course is designed to prepare you for the salesperson's examination. This course is mandatory for anyone pursuing the salespersons license, and has been approved by the New York Department of State, Licensing Division.
The course covers the following topics: license law and regulations, law of agency, real estate instruments, estates and interests, real estate financing, land use regulations, valuation, human rights issues, fair housing law, real estate mathematics, environmental issues, and also provides an introduction to the topic of construction. Course Information:
Spring classes will be held on 14 Wednesday evenings and 12 Saturday mornings beginning Saturday April 18th 2009 through to Saturday July 25th 2009 (the final exam to be held that day). Classes will be conducted from 6:30PM to 9:30PM on Wednesdays and from 9:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturdays. The class dates are: April 18, 22, 25, 29, May 2, 6, 9, 13, 20, 27, 30, June 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, July 1, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 (final exam). The fee for the spring course will be $595.00. Important Notice: As of July 1st 2008, the number of required classroom hours for the Salesperson Qualifying course has increased to 75 hours.

The New York Real Estate Salesperson's Remedial Course is for individuals who have already completed the 45-hour NYS Salesperson's course but did not take the licensing exam prior to the July 2008 qualifying hours increase. This course will supplement the already completed 45 in-class hours, to bring the total time for in-class hours to 75, which will enable the student to take the certification exam.
Course Information:

Spring 2009 classes will be held on Sunday afternoons beginning May 31st 2009 through to July 26th 2009, from 1:00PM to 4:45PM. The class dates are: May 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28, July 12, 19, 26. The fee for the spring course will be $395.00. For additional information please submit an inquiry form.

Prepare for the New York State real estate salesperson's examination at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The 75 hour NYS Salesperson course registration form is available for download. You can also download the remedial course registration form. Registration is easy and can be done by one of the following ways:
