St. Joseph's catches fire; CSE goes toe-to-toe with
fierce non-conference competition
4/10/2007 - St. Joseph's College and the College of
Saint Elizabeth made the headlines this week in HVWAC
Softball competition as both teams saw tough stretches of
games yield positive results. The Lady Bears of SJC caught
fire this week and extended their winning streak to five
straight games after a six-game slide to open the season.
Saint Elizabeth had an up and down week, but considering
that their competition came from the top of the standings
of the CUNY AC and Skyline Conferences, it was a great week
for the Eagles. Both teams were represented in the HVWAC
Softball weekly awards as the conference released its
weekly softball report today.
