Sophomore Chris Dotoratos registered a team-high 24 assists, but the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team saw its season-high four match winning streak snapped by NECVA Metro powerhouse SUNY New Paltz, 3-0 on Monday night during a match played at Mount Saint Vincent. The Mount will seek its 13th win of the season on Tuesday night when they host Yeshiva University at 8:00 p.m. for their final home match of the 2007 season. |
New Paltz swept the match 30-12, 30-17, and 30-17 to improve to 16-6 overall and 8-2 in NECVA Metro play.
Pufahl was outstanding as he led the Dolphins with a .318 attack percentage on a night when the Mount hit a season-low -.094 as a team. His 11 kills were against only four errors as he was one of only two Dolphins to hit a positive attack percentage. Dotoratos also had a fine evening, but the Dolphins registered only 35 digs and a single block, while New Paltz had a dominant night at the net.
Mount Saint Vincent returns to action on Tuesday, March 20 when they host Yeshiva University for their final home match of the 2007 season at 8:00 p.m.
