Ross, Pufahl lead Men's Volleyball to season-high fourth straight win, 3-0 over Webb Institute
Dolphins hit .315 as team to improve to 12-14; return home Monday to face New Paltz
3/15/2007 - (Glen Cove, NY) - Junior Arnold Ross (Wilton, ME/Mount Blue HS) registered a double-double with 14 kills, 15 digs, and a .480 attack percentage, and sophomore T.J. Pufahl (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage HS) had a double-double of his own with 10 kills, 11 digs, and a .474 attack percentage as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team won its season-high fourth straight match, 3-0 over the Webb Institute during a match played at Webb on Thursday. With the win, the Mount is now 12-14 for the 2007 season.
Sophomore T.J. Pufahl had 10 kills, 11 digs, and a .474 attack percentage to lead the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team to its season-high fourth straight win, 3-0 over the Webb Institute on Thursday during a match played at Webb. The 12-14 Dolphins return home on Monday when they host SUNY New Paltz at 7:00 p.m.

Mount Siant Vincent swept the match 30-16, 30-13, and 30-22, and have won all 12 games during their current winning streak.

Ross and Pufahl provided much of the ammunition as the Mount hit .315 as a team and recorded 69 digs and 11 team blocks. Junior Fitzroy Lawson (Kingston, Jamaica, Mannings) had a terrific day at the net as he registered a match-high three solo blocks. Also enjoying noteworthy performances were freshmen Jon Rivera (Bergenfield, NJ/Bergen Catholic) and Eugene Toussaint (Bronx, NY/Msgr. Scanlan). Rivera registered a career-high 19 digs, while Toussaint had six kills and 14 digs during the finest performance of his young career.

Mount Saint Vincent returns home on Monday, March 19 when they host NECVA Metro rival SUNY New Paltz at 7:00 p.m.
