Men's Volleyball wins season-high third straight match with sweep of Purchase College
Williams nets 14th double-double of 2007; Dotoratos registers 46 assists; Dolphins push for .500 continues on Thursday at Webb Institute
3/14/2007 - (Purchase, NY) - Senior Dan Williams (Brick Township, NJ/St. Rose) registered his 14th double-double of the 2007 season with 14 kills and 14 digs, and sophomore Chris Dotoratos (Bronx, NY/Salesian) amassed an incredible 46 assists as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team won its season-high third straight match with a 3-0 sweep of Purchase College on Wednesday night during a game played at Purchase. With the win, Mount Saint Vincent improves to 11-13 as they seek a return to .500 after a 7-18 finish a year ago.
Sophomore Chris Dotoratos contributed a match-high 46 assists as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team won its season high third straight match with a 3-0 win over Purchase College on Wednesday night during a match played at Purchase. Mount Saint Vincent is now 11-13 and will travel to the Webb Institute for a 7:00 p.m. match on Thursday.

Mount Saint Vincent swept the match 30-13, 30-23, and 30-25 and has won the last nine games they played during their winning streak.

Aside from Williams and Dotoratos enjoying big matches, sophomore T.J. Pufahl (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage HS) notched a double-double of his own with 12 kills and 10 digs, junior Arnold Ross (Wilton, ME/Mount Blue HS) had 13 kills, six digs, and five service aces, and junior Fitzroy Lawson (Kingston, Jamaica/Mannings HS) registered five kills and five digs.

Mount Saint Vincent returns to action on Thursday, March 15 when they travel to the Webb Institute for a 7:00 p.m. match as they seek their first four-match winning streak since the 2005 season.
