Men's Volleyball sweeps Yeshiva for second straight win
Williams has monster match; Ross registers 12 kills;
Dolphins travel to Purchase College on Wednesday

Williams (Brick Township, NJ/St. Rose) had a
monster match with 15 kills and 19 digs for his 13th
double-double of the 2007 season, and junior Arnold
Ross (Wilton, ME/Mount Blue HS) nailed 12 kills
and added seven digs as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's
Volleyball team won its second straight match, 3-0 over
Yeshiva University during a match played at Yeshiva on
Monday night. With the win, Mount Saint Vincent improves to
10-13 overall and 4-6 in NECVA M
etro play.

Senior Dan Williams registered his 13th double-double of the 2007 season with 15 kills and 19 digs as the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Volleyball team beat Yeshiva, 3-0 on Monday night. With the win, Mount Saint Vincent improves to 10-13 for the 2007 season and 4-6 in NECVA Metro play. The Dolphins will look to make it 3-0 on Wednesday when they travel to Purchase College for a 7:00 p.m. match. |
The Dolphins swept the match, 30-7, 30-20, and 30-16 as they battle to reach .500 after a 7-18 finish a year ago.
Besides Williams and Ross having big matches, freshman Rob Hockenjos (West Hempstead, NY/West Hempstead HS) had eight kills and eight digs, and sophomore Chris Dotoratos (Bronx, NY/Salesian) added 37 assists and nine digs.
Mount Saint Vincent will look for their first three-match winning streak of the 2007 season when they return to action on Wednesday, March 14 for a 7:00 p.m. match at Purchase College.
