Submit New Standardized Test Scores and Mid-Year Grades
Have your senior mid-year grades and any updated SAT or ACT scores sent to the Office of Admission. It is important that you continue to apply yourself through the end of your senior year.

File for Financial Aid
Apply for financial aid by filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The College’s deadline to complete the FAFSA is March 15, 2013. Students must file the FAFSA to qualify for need-based aid. Our FAFSA code is 002703.

Accept your Financial Aid Award
After you have submitted the FAFSA, you will receive a financial aid package from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. You must accept the award to receive federal and institutional grants, loans, and scholarships. If you have questions about your award, contact Financial Aid at (718) 405-3289.

Visit on Accepted Student Day
Join us for Accepted Student Days to learn what life is like at the Mount. Meet with faculty, current students, coaches, and administrators: Saturday, March 23, 2013 and Sunday, April 14, 2013.

Can’t make Accepted Student Day? The Office of Admission and Financial Aid will be open on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 to offer campus tours, financial aid counseling, and admission counseling. Register for your visit or schedule a tour at www.cmsv.edu/visit.

Send in Your Enrollment Form
To secure your seat as a member of the Class of 2017, send in the enrollment decision form by May 1, 2013. A $300 enrollment deposit is required, plus an additional $200 residence hall security deposit for students choosing to live on campus. If you require an enrollment deposited extension, please contact the Office of Admission. 

Fill Out Your Housing and Dining Application
If you plan to live on campus, once you have paid your enrollment deposit, fill out the online housing and dining application. The guaranteed housing deadline is June 14, 2013 (the application will be available in April).

Register for Summer Orientation
Session 1: Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25
Session 2: Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27
Session 3: Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2

Why is Orientation important? The first step to a successful college career is attending Orientation. There will be many changes in your life over the next year - from going to a new school to moving to a different state. Orientation will help you make a smooth transition.

Submit Proof of Health Insurance
Students are required to have health insurance. Submit a copy of your health insurance card (back and front) to the Office of Student Accounts via mail or fax (718) 405-3448 by August, 2 2013. Include your name, date of birth, and student ID. Students who do not provide proof of insurance will be enrolled in the College health insurance plan for an annual fee of $1,290.00.

Submit Proof of Immunization
The required immunization and the recommended physical exam forms are available online at www.mountsaintvincent.edu/healthforms. All forms must be submitted to the Health Center by August 16, 2013.

Send in Your Final High School Transcript
Please have your high school send your final transcript to the Office of Admission by September 1, 2013. To be considered official your transcript must include a full graduation date (MM/DD/YYYY), raised seal and official signature.
