Men's Tennis releases 2007 Schedule
Seven home matches highlight MSV's spring slate for second season back at varsity level
1/29/2007 - (Riverdale, NY) - Seven home matches highlight the 2007 Mount Saint Vincent Men's Tennis schedule as the Dolphins prepare for their second season back at the varsity level. Among the seven home contests will be five dates against Skyline Conference competition. The Dolphins will compete 13 times this spring after an 11-match schedule during the 2006 campaign.

Mount Saint Vincent opens the 2007 season on Thursday, March 22 for a 6:00 p.m. Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) tilt against Cooper Union. After a trip to the Webb Institute two days later, the Dolphins open their home schedule on Tuesday, March 27 when they host Skyline Conference foe, Yeshiva University, at 3:30 p.m.

After a trip to defending Skyline Conference champion Stevens on March 31, the Mount returns home for five of their next six matches, four of which will take place against Skyline Conference opponents. The stretch includes matches with Maritime on April 2 at 4:00 p.m., Mount Saint Mary on April 4 at 4:00 p.m., HVMAC rival Sarah Lawrence on April 13 at 4:00 p.m., USMMA-Kings Point on April 16 at 4:00 p.m., and  Manhattanville College on April 18 at 4:00 p.m.

Following the long homestand, Mount Saint Vincent will travel to consecutive matches against opponents new to the Dolphins' schedule. On Friday, April 20 the Dolphins will square off with John Jay College at 4:00 p.m., and Monday, April 23 the Mount will meet Bloomfield College.

The 2007 Skyline Conference playoffs will take place on Wednesday, April 25 and Saturday, April 28 at the higher seed, while the HVMAC playoffs will be an all-day event on Saturday, May 5 at a neutral site to be determined. Mount Saint Vincent finished the 2006 season with an 0-11 record and will welcome a new Head Coach in time for the 2007 campaign.
