Mike Donnelly of SJC earns Player of the Week one week after scoring career point #1,000; Berkeley's Hernandez gets Rookie of the Week
1/17/2007 - St. Joseph's senior Mike Donnelly had one of the most memorable stretches of his career during the last week of play as he scored the 1,000th point of his illustrious SJC career last week, and then this week led the Bears to a 2-1 record. For his efforts, Donnelly received HVMAC Player of the Week honors, while Jose Hernandez of Berkeley College earns Rookie of the Week after providing a spark off the bench that allowed the Knights to overcome a furious Mount Saint Vincent rally on Saturday.
