1/9/2007 - (New York, NY) - Freshman Ralph Kube (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon HS) notched his fifth double-double of the 2006-07 season and seniors Kareem Wright (Bronx, NY/Cardinal Hayes) and Matt Salamone (Fishkill, NY/John Jay HS) combined for 25 points, but the Mount Saint Vincent JV Basketball team lost its second straight game, 82-58 to the NYU JV team on Tuesday night during a game played at NYU. With the loss, the Dolphins fall to 3-9 for the 2006-07 season.

NYU, who defeated the Mount 80-55 on Nov. 20, took command early and extended their lead to 46-27 at halftime as the Dolphins struggled to shoot during the first 20 minutes. The second half proved to be different as Kube and Wright turned things on with Kube scoring 10 of his 17 points during the second half of play, while Wright scored seven of his 12 points during the same stretch. Kube also added 10 rebounds for the double-double, while Wright chipped in a team-high four assists. Salamone finished the game with 13 points.

Mount Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 13 when they host Berkeley College for a Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) game at 4:00 p.m.
