St. Joseph's/Mount Saint Vincent score huge wins this
week to gain weekly individual awards
12/5/2006 - The streak is over, and after an 0-7 start, not
only did the Mount Saint Vincent JV Basketball team win a
game this week, it swept the Gryphon Invitational at Sarah
Lawrence College for its first two wins of the season ...
both over teams who beat them earlier in the year (Webb
Institute and Cooper Union). As a result, the Mount's
star of the weekend - Ralph Kube - received Rookie of the
Week for the second time, and Mike Donnelly of St.
Joseph's earned Player of the Week honors after an
outstanding stretch in which the Bears went 2-2 ... in a
seven-day span. The HVMAC released its weekly
basketball report today.
