Final Swimming report of 2006 recaps HVWAC Championships;
Mount Saint Vincent ends St. Joseph's 39-game HVWAC
winning streak
12/5/2006 - It was a week of incredible excitement across
the HVWAC as the Conference saw its swimming championships
result in the second consecutive win for Sarah Lawrence
College as the Gryphons broke three championship meet
records en route to a dominant victory on Friday night. In
other HVWAC action, one of the longest winning streaks in
HVWAC athletics history fell as Mount Saint Vincent downed
St. Joseph's 66-29 in basketball on Tuesday night to
break the Lady Bears' 39-game HVWAC regular season
winning streak. CNR also had a big week in basketball and
captured a weekly award. The HVWAC released its weekly fall
sports report today.
