Martinez was a revelation in the middle for the Dolphins this season, leading the Mount in both kills (254) and total blocks (93) putting her among the Skyline Conference leaders in both categories. For her efforts, Martinez earned Second Team All-Conference from the Skyline Conference and HVWAC All-Conference as well. The HVWAC honor was the second of Martinez's Mount Saint Vincent career. Her highlights included 11 matches with at least 10 kills, and nine matches where she registered at least four total blocks.
Predergast, a senior, ended her Mount Saint Vincent career on a high note, earning HVWAC All-Conference honors for the second straight year. One of the best outside hitters in either conference, Predergast finished the season third on the team with 161 kills, third on the team with 71 service aces, and first on the team with 295 digs. Five times during the season Predergast registered 10 kills or more, and during an incredible 13 matches Predergast amassed at least 10 digs. Predergast, who earned All-Conference honors from both the Skyline Conference and HVWAC a year ago, graduates among the all-time leaders in Mount Saint Vincent history in kills and digs.
Dedvukaj completed one of the finest rookie seasons in Mount Saint Vincent Volleyball history as she finished second on the team with 204 kills, second with 226 digs, and also led the Mount with six double-doubles during the season. For her efforts, Dedvukaj earned HVWAC All-Conference honors.
With only two players being lost to graduation and after an outstanding 2006 campaign, hopes are high that Mount Saint Vincent will build on this year's success and have an even better run during the 2007 season.
