MSV's De La Torre earns Rookie of the Week for the
second straight week; Saint Elizabeth's Drewes leads
Eagles to first win of 2006-07 season
11/14/2006 - It was simply a wild week in the pool for the
Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC)
swimming programs as several meets were so close that the
final events of the evening determined the winner. Such an
exciting week of competition made selecting weekly award
winners a chore to say the least, but ultimately, Saint
Elizabeth's Amanda Drewes emerged as the
Conference's Swimmer of the Week, and Mount Saint
Vincent's Andrea De La Torre earned Rookie of the Week
honors. The HVWAC announced its weekly award winners for
swimming today.
