Thank you for consenting to judge platform presentations. Before your session begins you will receive the packet of sheets you need to complete.

ECSC wants you to realize that students will have a high regard for your comments. So, if you cannot make an informed comment on the sheet, just do not make a comment. However, fill out the information that you can so that the student will understand, as completely as possible, your feelings.

You may ask the speaker any questions that you like, either during a talk or after each talk is completed. You are the judge- the only judge. I will not question your motives. I will assume that you will give the best, most unbiased judgement of the talks.

I am also asking you to provide to me the MOST EXCELLENT presentation of the session. IF THERE IS NOT AN EXCELLENT presentation, then tell me that so that no award will be given for the session. You do not have to give your reasons for your choice. Just give me the most excellent.

Sessions 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 are completed before lunch. I will collect all forms for these sessions during lunch. I will be at the rooms to collect the forms for sessions 2, 6, 8, 10 and 11 as soon as they are finished. Please look for me and have the forms ready. There is not time for you to work on them after the session is finished. I must start the collating of sheets and get the information for the awards to the person writing the awards as soon as possible.
