Powerpoint Presentation Submission
Instructions to Oral Presenters for submission to 2007 ECSC
Conference who intend to use MS PowerPoint
Deadline for submissions: Monday April 9, 2007
No submissions will be accepted after the April 9 deadline.
Presentations will be accepted via e-mail or via overnight mail with a tracking number. Please keep in mind that if your PowerPoint presentation file is too large, you may not be able to send it via e-mail. If this is the case, please make sure you send it enough in advance so that you can send it via overnight mail with a tracking number.
All Submissions must be accompanied by an e-mail to Richard Musal. You must send an e-mail whether you are sending the presentation via e-mail or overnight mail, since we need your e-mail in order to be able to send you a confirmation e-mail to acknowledge receipt of your presentation or to contact you in case there are any complications. Remember, for presentations sent via overnight mail, you must e-mail us the tracking number.
Do not imbed or use any sounds or movies in your PowerPoint.
Submissions will only be accepted if Arial or Times New Roman fonts are used.
Only submissions created with the built-in design templates in PowerPoint will be accepted.
Only manually controlled presentations will be accepted (DO NOT USE THE TIMING MECHANISM BUILT IN POWERPOINT).
Do not use any animations or transitions that take longer than a second to execute.
Please note that Internet access will not be available in the presentation rooms.
Please make sure that your presentation does not exceed the allotted time.
If you have any questions regarding the submission guidelines please e-mail Richard Musal. Please leave plenty of time to make changes once you have received answers to your questions.
