Men's Soccer falls to 0-5 in Skyline Conference play with 10-0 loss to Ducks
Cecere makes six saves; Dolphins host Centenary on Wednesday
10/16/2006 - (Hoboken, NJ) - Senior Martino Cecere (Blind Brook, NY/Rye Brook HS) made six saves, but the Mount Saint Vincent Men's Soccer team lost its second straight game, 10-0 to defending Skyline Conference Champion, Stevens, during a game played at Stevens on Monday night. With the loss, the Dolphins are now 3-8-1 for the 2006 season and 0-5 in Skyline Conference play.

Stevens jumped out to a 7-0 lead during the first 45 minutes thanks to a relentless attack that allowed to outshoot the Mount, 35-2 for the game as the lone Dolphin shots were taken by sophomore Michael Hernandez (Ridgefield, NJ/Bergen Catholic) and senior Chris Herrera (Fresh Meadows, NY/St. Francis Prep). Cecere made six saves, several of which were from point-blank range during a solid outing despite the disparity on the scoreboard.

Mount Saint Vincent returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 18 when they host Skyline Conference foe, Centenary College, at 4:00 p.m.
