College of Mount Saint Vincent is One of America’s Best Colleges
US News and World Report Ranks the College among the best in its Annual Survey
8/29/2006 - The College of Mount Saint Vincent is one the best schools in the North according to US News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges 2007.  The College is featured in the “Universities-Master's” category along with other institutions in the North region that offer both undergraduate and master's level programs.

US News and World Report publishes the America’s Best College’s edition as a resource for students in selecting a college, and is widely recognized as a source of reliable and consistent data.  The rankings are based on several measures of quality, which fall into seven broad categories: peer assessment; graduation and retention rate; faculty resources; student selectivity; financial resources; alumni giving; and graduation rate performance.

Mount Saint Vincent’s ranking recognizes the quality and strength of the College’s faculty, students and academic programs.  These programs include more than 30 undergraduate major programs and master’s degree programs in nursing, and urban and multicultural education.

The Admissions office offers interviews and campus tours throughout the week.  An Open House will be held Sunday November 12, 2006 beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Contact the Admissions Office to register or to learn more about these events.

Founded in 1847 the College of Mount Saint Vincent is a co-educational, independent institution rooted in the spirit and mission of the Sisters of Charity and committed to the liberal arts. The College’s undergraduate and master’s level degree programs prepare its uncommonly diverse students for lives of professional achievement and service.
