Natalia Smirnova, Assistant Professor of Business and Economics at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, was among a group of educators who rang the New York Stock Exchange’s Opening Bell Tuesday, August 15, 2006.

A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Smirnova joined the Mount Saint Vincent faculty in the fall of 2005. She teaches courses in finance, economics, and money and banking. She previously worked as an economic analyst and forecaster for the City of New York.
