MacDonald, who has been outstanding all season long at first singles, was swept 6-0, 6-0 during a match that was far closer than the score indicated as the senior pushed USMMA’s top singles player to the limit during every game. Sens-Castet was also excellent, dropping the first game 6-2 before being swept in the second game. The rest of the match was all Kings Point as the Mariners (9-3, 4-1 Skyline Conference) did not lose more than a single game the rest of the way.
Mount Saint Vincent returns to action on Friday, April 21 when they travel to Sarah Lawrence for a 4:00 p.m. match.
