Fulbright Scholar to Speak at Mount Saint Vincent April 27, 2006
Dr. Andrey V. Rezaev to present a lecture examining Higher Education in Russia and the U.S.
3/14/2006 - Dr. Andrey V. Rezaev, a 2005-2006 Fulbright Scholar, will visit the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Thursday, April 27, 2006 to present a lecture examining “Colleges in USA and Russia: From Conversion of Perception to Convergence of Systems.”

Dr. Rezaev will speak about the changes occurring in the higher education system in Russia, which include changes in admission standards, cost and accessibility.  Rezaev is the Director of the International Center for Comparative and Institutional Research and is a professor of sociology at St. Petersburg State University in Russia. He is currently serving as Fulbright Scholar-In-Residence at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, Maine. 

Dr. Rezaev will speak on Thursday, April 27, at 3:00 pm. in Room 101 of Science Hall.
