Undergraduates                        Graduating Seniors                       Law School Scholarships

 

For Undergraduates:

JK Watson Fellowship - Three consecutive summer internships (paid). Freshmen and Sophomores are eligible to apply. 

Goldwater Scholarship Program - Open to Sophomores and Juniors planning to pursue careers in science, mathematics and engineering. Scholarship awards up to $7,500 a year and applications are due February 1, 2007. 

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - Students must be from a Hispanic background and must demonstrate a financial need.  Scholarships range from $500-$10,000

Clark Foundation Fellowship Program -Juniors interested in non-profit management or community-oriented service receive tuition assistance and a stipend up to $30,000 over 3 years.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation - For Juniors - provides up to $30,000 in funding for students interested in pursuing graduate degrees in public service

For Graduating Seniors:

Petrie New York City Teaching Fellowship Program - Students interested in teaching in the New York City public schools. Fellows will receive up to $50,000 towards financing their masters degrees in education and certification.

Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice - For students interested in health care policy.  No minimum GPA requirement.  Receive a one year fellowship to work in Washington, DC and receive $35,000 stipend and benefits. 

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation - Students planning to attend graduate or professional school are eligible to receive up to $50,000 toward their graduate degree including tuition, fees and living expenses.

James Madison Fellowship - For students planning to teach American History, government or social studies and  planning to go on to graduate school. This fellowship will award up to $24,000 toward tuition, fees and living expenses.

Law Scholarships:

ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship - Awards $5,000 annually to students attending an ABA accredited law school.

The Shropshire Group, Inc. - Provides academic and financial assistance to minority students interested in applying to law school.
