ce by the Skyline Conference today. Sophomore Katherine Gentsch (Staten Island, NY/Curtis HS) earned First Team All-Conference honors, while fellow sophomore Cynthia Osorio (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside HS) was named Second Team All-Conference.

Gentsch was one of four forwards named First Team All-Conference after one of the finest individual seasons in Mount Saint Vincent history. The forward led the Skyline Conference in both goals (18) and total points (38), and emerged as one of the biggest scoring threats in both the Skyline and the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference (HVWAC). Gentsch set a career high for goals in a game (4) during an 8-0 win over CCNY on Oct. 28, and had two or more goals in a game five times this season. She also led the Mount with five game-winning goals. Gentsch was also named All-Conference by the HVWAC.

Osorio’s selection continues a remarkable career in which she has established herself as one of the finest Women’s Soccer players in the history of the program. After being named All-Conference by the HVWAC for the second time, Osorio earned the Skyline Conference honor after solidifying her presence as one of the finest sweepers in the region, as she was a dominant force in the Mount Saint Vincent defense. Not only was Osorio a tremendous defender, but she was also crucial to the Mount transition game, registering five goals and a team-high six assists for a total of 16 points.
