Gentsch was a clear-cut All-Conference selection after one of the finest individual seasons in Mount Saint Vincent history. The forward led the Skyline Conference in both goals (18) and total points (38), and emerged as one of the biggest scoring threats in either conference. Gentsch set a career high for goals in a game (4) during an 8-0 win over CCNY on Oct. 28, and had two or more goals in a game five times this season. She also led the Mount with five game-winning goals.
Rizzotto, a midfielder, earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore goalkeeper in 2003, and enjoyed a fantastic senior season. She had two goals and four points, and was a key member of a Mount Saint Vincent defense that allowed less than three goals in a game. A Co-Captain, Rizzotto’s leadership off of the field was a key component that helped a very young Mount Saint Vincent team win its first ever Conference Tournament Championship.

Speaking of defense, during the 2005 season Osorio solidified her presence as one of the finest sweepers in the region, as she was a dominant force in the Mount Saint Vincent defense. Not only was Osorio a tremendous defender, but she was also crucial to the Mount transition game, registering five goals and a team-high six assists for a total of 16 points.
After a 3-10 finish in 2004, the Mount finished the 2005 season with a 10-7 overall record that included their first Skyline Conference win in three years, a 4-2 triumph over Mount Saint Mary on Sept. 23. The Dolphins only graduate one starter from this year’s team.
